I cannot see any images in my newsletter - what do I do?
Here are a few suggestions that we hope will help:
- Please make sure
is added to your address book & safe senders list. Doing this should modify your e-mail program settings to allow our newsletter to be delivered to your inbox without being flagged as spam or junk. If our newsletter is marked as spam, most e-mail programs will forbid the images from being downloaded.
- The images in our newsletters are not mailed with the newsletter, but instead reside on our web server. For this reason, images will not show on your copy of the newsletter unless you are connected to the internet while viewing it.
- Make sure that your e-mail software is capable of displaying HTML/rich-based text messages. There are many web-based (http://www.gmail.com, http://www.hotmail.com, and others) and computer-based (Outlook Express, Eudora, and others) e-mail programs available that have the capability of displaying images. Your current e-mail program may also have a setting or option that will allow or disallow you to view images.
- If you are using AOL, read below:
Many thanks to Janine (one of our subscribers) for pointing out the following software bug/workable fix for those of you on AOL who are unable to view the HTML version pictures,
"Just opening and reading your mail won't do it. For AOL users they have to save the newsletter adding the "HTML" name to the saved file name (i.e. you would save the message as "nordicnewsletter.HTML". Then when they open it while still on AOL it will be in the right format."
- Finally, if none of our suggestions help, seek assistance from someone who has knowledge of computers, and good luck!
I would like to contact your newsletter writers/editors! How can I get a hold of them?
You can contact many of the Nordic Needle staff by using our Contact Us section. Additionally, if you'd like to contact either Roz, Debi, or Ryan, within each newsletter we have provided links to mailing them directly, so make sure to look for those in your copies of the e-mails (we will always provide encoded and secure links for you to use to e-mail our staff and friends). We always love to hear from you!
