We want to be straight about our shipping.

We are not a super-fast, 2-day ship guarantee, drone-powered big-box store that works our shippers to the bone, but we do love needlework, and always strive to package your order safely and correctly, and ship it out to you quickly. Because, let's face it, that fabric won't stitch itself! ;)

  • What is the difference between the Economy and Premium shipping options (continental U.S. only)?

    • Economy Shipped Orders will be readied for shipment in the order received, and be shipped the most economical manner possible, typically arriving in 5-10 business days at a charge of $5.95.
    • Premium Shipped Orders will be rushed through processing and readied for shipment within one business day, typically arriving in 3-5 business days at a charge of $12.95.

  • How do I find my tracking number?

    If we have your e-mail address on file you will automatically receive a shipment notification e-mail when your package ships. This e-mail will list all the items shipped, as well as any backorders, and applicable tracking numbers (if available). Additionally, you can always submit a care ticket to find out more about your shipment!

  • What shipping methods do you use?

    All of our packages are shipped via USPS or FedEx using the most economic methods. You may specifically request a different service provider or method, but you will be responsible for those additional shipping charges.

  • What are your international and non-continental U.S. shipping rates and policies?

    Orders shipped internationally, or to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. provinces or APO/FPO addresses will be billed for actual shipping charges (calculated at checkout) plus a small handling fee. International customers are responsible for all duties & taxes for shipments received.

    Please be aware that all international packages are held until they are filled completely, and are not guaranteed once they leave the United States.

    Additionally, international orders shipped via the Economy method are not guaranteed or insured, and will not be re-shipped or refunded.

    If you do not want us to hold your order but would prefer that we ship a partial shipment and back-order the missing items, please specify this preference when placing your order. You may also tell us to cancel the missing items rather than back order them. If you request multiple shipments, you will be billed shipping and handling for each shipment.

    We reserve the right to refuse to ship to certain foreign countries and cannot offer refunds or insurance on packages shipped to certain countries. Please contact us for more information if you have additional questions.

    For orders placed by mail, payment must be in the form of credit card or PayPal to allow us to collect the actual shipping costs plus handling. We will select the least expensive and most appropriate shipping service available, unless otherwise directed.

    For orders placed by phone, be aware that we handle your order in various departments so when we take your order over the phone we might not be able to give you a shipping total until our shipping department receives and weighs your items. Please feel free to let us know when you place your orders that you would like us to call you back with your total or simply give us a call back later and request the shipping department or customer service for your shipping and order inquiries.

    Any fee, tax, or duty that your government chooses to assess is your responsibility. Call your local customs office for details. We are not responsible for the taxes or duty charged by foreign countries. Please check with your government for further details.

  • How long will it take to receive my order?

    For domestic customers, you can expect to receive your merchandise within 2 weeks after we receive your order. For international customers, shipping can take up to 8 weeks depending on the method and destination country. Delivery time may vary during seasonal peaks and catalog sales. Occasionally we will hold an order for merchandise that we expect to receive in our warehouse very soon. If you need your order quickly, you can choose Premium shipping (domestic shipments only) that guarantees your shipment (less any backorders) will be processed and shipped within 24 hours.

    If you have purchased through PayPal we must hold your order until it is completely filled before requesting funds. If you need your order quickly, please consider an alternate payment method to ensure the fastest service possible.

    If you have not received your merchandise within three weeks (domestic) or eight weeks (international) of our receipt of your order, we will be happy to assist you in locating it. Call 1-800-433-4321 or submit a care ticket.

  • What do I do if I need to change my address or am receiving duplicate mailings?

    If you receive duplicate catalogs, please call us with that information and share the extra catalog with a friend!

    If you are moving or changing your name, please Contact Us. We will need your old address as well as your new one. Thank you for your cooperation!

  • Where is my order?

    • If your order was shipped using Economy Shipping, you can expect to receive it in 5-10 Business days. Delivery time may vary during seasonal peaks and catalog sales. Occasionally, we will hold an order for merchandise which we expected to arrive in our warehouse very soon to reduce multiple shipments.
    • If your order was shipped using Premium Shipping you can expect it to arrive in 3-5 business days. You will be contacted should there be any back orders and given the option to "ship what is ready" at the Premium rate, or change the shipment method to Economy and hold the order for back ordered items to arrive. The tracking number and method of shipment will be emailed during packaging.

    If you have not received your merchandise within three weeks of our receipt of your order, please call 1-800-433-4321 or submit a care ticket and we will help investigate its whereabouts!

  • How much will it cost to ship _____ to _____?

    If you need an estimate for shipping, please feel free to submit a care ticket with:

    • A list of all the items you wish to purchase.
    • The shipping address where you would like it shipped.

    We will get back to you as soon as we can with an estimate of your shipping costs.
