Designed with a wedding in mind, An Elegant Occasion can also celebrate a baby christening, first communion, or a special anniversary. Pictures are easily exchanged with the unique corner picture holders. The model was finished in a purchased white square frame, but it could be stitched as a small ring pillow by omitting the photo corners and attaching a silk ribbon in the center to hold the wedding rings. The model was stitched on 28 count White Cashel linen (3281-100). The fibers needed are DMC Pearl Cotton Size 8 - white, 4 mm white and ecru silk ribbons, Kreinik #8 braid #032, DMC white floss, SJ Designs 2mm white pearls, Mill Hill beads #40123, and a Mother of Pearl heart bead (which is included with the leaflet.) Stitch count is 70 x 70 or 5" x 5" on 28 count.
