This is a wonderful tool, but I'm afraid it may be too inexpensive. I've had 2 now and both bent out of shape within a month. One because I was pulling hard on the thread and one while it was just sitting in my box of stitching accessories. It seems like there must be a way to make something a little sturdier and still affordable.

I wish this little gem had been invented when I started doing cross stitch many (never mind how many!) years ago. After a lapse of about 20 stitchless years, I've recently started again and I've been blown away by all the wonderful things that are available now...overdyed floss, yummy fabrics, and gadgets galore. This is my all-time favorite, must-have, always-keep-a-spare item, second only to needle and scissors! I used to hate having to rip out mistakes far enough back to re-thread the needle, and struggling to get the short end through an eye that blinked! This alleviates all that heartburn, and is the next best thing to not making mistakes to begin with.

You'll wonder how you got along without one of these! Use it to finish the last bit of stitching when your thread is too short or to tuck your thread ends to secure your work.

This tool is a must-have for me when I'm stitching Hardanger projects. Easy to use, quick, simple, cheap, and completely effective. Now all I have to do is make sure not to lose it!
