I bought this long ago, when it was sold in a small brown container. My sister recommended it, and boy, was she right. We both agree that one should never clean antique samplers, nor even our own stitched ones unless absolutely necessary. However, if it has to be done, this is THE product to use. It's worked beautifully for me and I recommend it without reservation if you really need it. Linens and silk threads aside, I've used it on old cotton table runners, napkins, etc., when they have foxing or other stains. It doesn't always work, though, and you'll still have to boil and bleach sometimes.
"THANK YOU for your help! ... I didn't get the name of the lady who took my order, but you both have made this a great afternoon. You've been so helpful and nice. I knew it before, but it's completely clear now why you have such a good following. I hope business is booming there and that it will continue to. Anne"
