The Best Laying Tool (BLT) was first created by Shay Pendray, well-known canvaswork designer and teacher. The BLT is almost 4 inches long with a very fine tip and a four-sided handled, which keeps it from rolling in your hand. Beautiful and functional! Similar to Japanese Tekobari.

This laying tool is well named - it is honestly the best laying tool that I own (and I own many). It fits into your hand well, doesn't snag the fibres, and just feels good when you use it. I highly recommend this tool.
