5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Mag Eyes, 6.8.2010

I'm on my third Mag Eyes over the last 15 years. I've been stitching for 25 years, so what's the first to go in aging, eyes!! If it weren't for this product, I would not be able to stitch in this comfort. I leave them on for hours with the magnifying part either up or down depending on what I'm doing -- up for cooking, down for stitching. This product is a God-send to people who love to stitch, whose eyes are not what they used to be.

By: Ruth Plummer (Upland, CA)

Yes, these look funny but they are wonderful! These allow me to easily see more difficult work, such as 36+ fabrics or white-on-white. They don't distort my vision and it is comfortable to look down at my work and up at TV or people. I highly recommend these.

I read the Mag Eyes article in your news letter that arrived in my mailbox today. I have used them for many, many years and highly recommend them to anyone who stitches. I used to bring them to work with me when I was a police dispatcher and I could stitch when things were not too busy. One of the officers called them my "stitching helmet"....he said they reminded him of a welders helmet. After my husband and I moved from Florida to Oregon I joined a crafts group and brought my counted cross stitch to work on. One of the women was especially entranced by them because her husband had serious vision problems and she thought they might help him. She borrowed my Mag Eyes to see if they would work and then they found them available locally and with even stronger magnification than I had. He is able to work on his computer now without having his nose pressed to the screen and he's able to watch tv again as well as read books....all pursuits he'd given up because of his vision problems. His wife is also another voice advertising Mag Eyes to anyone she can.
