Only the finest clear crown optical lenses are used for true color rendition and less distortion. 5" double convex lenses, 13" focal length, 3 diopter power provides 75% magnification. Great for reading and stitching! Circular fluorescent tube provides an even field of illumination because light rays flood all sides. Use as a free-standing model with purchase of a pedestal or wheel-base floor stand. Includes tube. Please note that this item uses 120v AC only. I have owned my Dazor floor model since the early 80's and love it. The clarity and ease of use have made this purchase worth the investment. In fact I eventually purchased the table model as well. My eyes are never tired and though it might not be as portable as less expensive models it is a superior product.

I have had my lamp for 11 years. My lamp is on wheels because it is heavy to move around. I need to purchase another lamp because my lamp did not held up to moving 5 times in 11 years. Some how the elbow where the light and the stand meet got bent. Other then that the lamp and the stand are in great shape. You know how you treat your stuff but when we put our stuff in the hands of others, who knows what will happen. Thank you for a great product. Pati
