Great Tool, 4.25.2010

I bought this a year ago and had not opened the package since I didn't want to "waste" it. Another reviewer's tip about storing pre-cut threads in bags to be used again spurred me to break open my package for a complicated cross stitch project. This stuff is a dream! Well worth the time to mark the grid on your fabric. It saves way more time by not having to constantly recount and rip out mistakes. When the project is complete, it pulls out easily with one tug. Now that I've taken the plunge, I won't hesitate to use it again.

I am always getting nicely along in a project only to discover that I 've miscounted -Aarrrrhhh! - This thread is exactly what a person needs when they are doing a large charge, a complicated chart, or just one that is simple and you don't want to fret over missing a stitch - marking everything off in 10's makes stitching so much easier and enjoyable - It has helped with less UFO's ending up in my sewing box - I recycle mine and keep the lengths in plastic bags of similar lengths in order to reuse them - well worth the money

So far pretty good, 3.22.2009

I like to do 18 and 22-count cross-stitch projects with intricate details and counting can get difficult. I've tried various ways to mark 10x10 stitch squares and haven't been really satisfied with any of them. Pencil marks can show under light stitches and water soluble markers fade before you get to them (especially in humid weather!). So far this nylon thread has worked well for me - enough to order a second spool. One tip - the ends of the nylon thread tend to catch your embroidery thread, even when they aren't knotted. I've found that covering them with removable tape stops this without leaving any tacky residue.
