Our goal is to provide you with top quality needlework products and fast, friendly service. We appreciate your business and hope to continue to serve you! Not only are you our customers, but you are also our needlework friends, so we would like you to meet the staff!
When you call in to place an order with us, you will most likely be greeted with one of our friendly staff from our order entry department. The order entry department handles phone calls and enters online, phone, fax, and mail orders into our order-entry database for processing.

Our retail store staff are more than they appear! Not only do they assist our in-store customers, answer phones, and keep the store stocked and tidy, they also fill the retail items for all of our orders.

Sue K. supervises the store and also works in shipping and receiving, as well as assists with product management within our order-entry database. Sue remembers shopping at Nordic Needle with her Grandmother when it was in the Block 6 location. Those memories coupled with inheriting some of her Grandmother's pieces, inspired her to learn the art of Hardanger. She now calls herself an "advanced" beginner at Hardanger embroidery.
Janine works nights and weekends in the store filling orders and helping out where necessary.
Cassie, Lisa, Fern, and Heather (not shown) also work nights and weekends in the store filling orders.

Last but most assuredly not least we have the fine owners of Nordic Needle. None of us would be here without them! Roz and Sue still dedicate their time to the company in so many different ways.
Roz still oversees the production of the retail catalog, as well as writes the Features bi-weekly newsletter and scouts for new and interesting retail products to pick up. She also finds time to create beautiful, original Hardanger patterns and kits.
Sue is now sadly retired, but of course still stays in touch both professionally and personally. Sue enjoys Huck (Swedish weaving) and, of course, Hardanger. Sue and Roz both also work together to judge and publish Nordic Needle's annual Award Winning Designs in Hardanger embroidery book.
