    Stitch this beautiful ivory doily from Past and Present Hardanger Treasures by Donna M. Olson.

    Finished Size:

    • 7" x 7"

    Materials:

    • 10" x 10" ivory Hardanger fabric (22 count), Item 1008-264
    • 1 ball #5 and 1 ball #8 DMC pearl cotton, color 712 (cream)
      -OR-
      1 skein #5 and 1 ball #8 Anchor pearl cotton, color 926 (cream)

    Working Instructions:

    Fold the fabric in half to find the center line. Measure down 2" to begin the first satin stitch block (see arrow on chart) using size #5 pearl cotton. Work all the satin stitche blocks. Use size #8 for buttonhole, box stitch, cable stitch, lazy daisies, cutting and woven bars.
