White Runner with Border (May/June 2002)
 Stitch this beautiful white runner from Classic Creations III in Hardanger Embroidery by Sylvia Muir. You can adjust the length of the runner by simply adding or subtracting repeats.

Materials:
- 15” x 41” white lugana (25 count), item 3835-100
- 4 balls #5, 1 ball #8 and 1 ball #12 DMC pearl cotton, color white
-OR-
8 skeins #5, 1 ball #8 and 1 ball #12 Anchor pearl cotton, color 1 (white)
Working Instructions:
From the top right corner measure 3” to the left and 3” down to begin the first satin stitch (see arrow on chart). Work all the satin stitches and buttonhole edge using size #5 pearl cotton. Work the eyelets with size #12 pearl cotton. Cut and weave the bars with size #8 pearl cotton.
If worked on 22 count Hardanger fabric, the finished size will be 13-5/8” by 42-5/8”.
