Working Instructions:
Fold the fabric in half lengthwise to find the center line. Measure down 1 1/2" to begin the first stitch of the top solid motif. Work all the solid motifs and continue with the cable stitch, lazy daisies, cutting weaving and spokes.
Cutting Instructions: In the "A" spaces, from each corner, cut the first two fabric threads, leave the center four and cut the last two. Draw out the cut fabric threads. Weave the remaining bars and insert the spokes.
Remove mounting board from ornament and center design over the mounting board. With a pencil, draw a line 3/4" out from edge of board. Trim away excess fabric beyond this line. Use a fabric glue to attach edge around to the back of the mounting board, keeping it tight and even. Glue mounting board to the ornament and let it lay beneath heavy books for about an hour. Your Easter ornament is ready to display.
