Triple Heart Framed Design (October 2001)
Stitch this beautiful blue and tan triple heart framed design from Hardanger Memories I by Rosalyn Watnemo and Sue Meier.
Design Size: 5.5" x 10"
Materials:
- 13" x 18" raw Cashel linen (28 count) by Zweigart
- 1 ball #8 DMC pearl cotton, color 712 (cream)
- OR 1 ball #8 Anchor pearl cotton, color 926 (cream)
- 3 small bow heart charms, antique gold
- Blue lining fabric:
- 11 x 15 double mat with 6 x 11 opening
- 11 x 15 country blue frame
Working Instructions: Fold the fabric in half lengthwise to find the center line. Measure down 4 to begin the first satin stitch (see arrow). Work all the satin stitches, solid motifs, cable stitch, lazy daisies and woven bars. Attach charms.
Special Note: If worked on 22 count Hardanger fabric the design size will be 7 x 12.
