RETREAT REPORT

	Mary, Karin, Laurie and Dorothy. For those who didn’t have a morning class, there were more tours and shopping at Nordic, or open stitching in the Studio.
We called our Saturday noon luncheon, the “Gadget Luncheon”, because each table held a Yazzi bag filled with needlework gadgets that two of our staff, Ruth and Carol, demonstrated and explained.
	Here you see Anne, Sue and Diane having “too much fun”. No, the Telescoping Magnetic Wand, item 7200, is NOT for spearing a fork with a pickle and feeding it to your new stitching friend across the table! Ladies, ladies, this is a serious retreat! (some of the time). Many of the ladies decided this was one tool they could bring home to their husbands as it had many uses!
After the entertaining demonstration, the delicious homemade soup and sandwich bar, it was back to classes or back to Nordic Needle for more shopping. The classes were taught in Beginning Hardanger, by Marie and Tasha. (shown with Anne)
	Whitework was taught by Rupa with assistant Ruth.
Brazilian embroidery was taught by Jean with Carol as her right-hand assistant. Also shown are Mary, Carole, and Stephanie.
