2008 Winter Class Schedule
Open Stitch Nights This Winter – FREE! Drop in for Open Stitching Sessions this winter. Bring your current project and enjoy stitching the night away with old and new stitching friends. Jean Mann will be here to assist with any questions or problem stitches from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. Come on in!
In January, join us Monday night the 14th.
In February, join us Monday night the 11th.
In March, join us Monday night the 10th.
*** REMEMBER*** Pre-registration and Pre-Payment are required for all classes. Students may register and pay at the time of the class IF space is still open in the class. Class limit is 15. If less than 4 people register, the class will be cancelled, but the room will still be available for open stitching with no teacher present. So, call a friend or two and come enjoy these fun quick needlework classes. Call 235-5231 to register and pay with credit card, or stop in to the store to register and pay for these classes; costs include tax. You will also be registered to win a prize with the completion of each class. No refunds within 24 hours of class.
Monday Evening Classes
CLASSES – Learn a new needlework technique or just come and share some time with fellow-stitchers, working on a small project.
Pulled Thread
Monday Evenings, Jan. 21, 28, & Feb. 4, 2008 6:30 – 8:30 pm Class Cost and materials: $ 24.17
Come learn the art of pulled thread while you make a cute bell pull for that special someone. Don’t forget your hoop and a sharp pair of scissors.
Mahogany Treasures
Monday Evenings, Feb. 25 & March 3, 2008 6:30 – 8:30 pm Class Cost and materials: $ 29.83
Interested in stitching something a little different? Join us as you work through the Mahogany Treasures pattern from the At Home with Needlework magazine. (This class is not for the first time stitcher.) You will need to bring a hoop and a scissors.
Saturday – Four Hour Classes
Spend a Saturday with us this fall and learn some fun and interesting needlework techniques.
Classes run from 10 AM to 3 PM with one hour off for lunch.
Beginning Tatting

Beginning/Advanced Hardanger

Ever wanted to learn Hardanger but the weekdays are just too busy? Join us and learn this incredible art as Jean walks you through the technique. As always you will need to bring your hoop, if you desire, and a sharp tip scissors.
Huck Embroidery and Silk Ribbon

Thursday Evening Classes
Series classes will be offered on Thursday evenings this winter. Pre-registration IS required to hold your place in class. Class will be cancelled if less than four register.

Cross-stitch and Blackwork

Brazilian Embroidery
