Product Description
SALE - only: $3.25! Darlene Boysen and Carol Matson lovingly made fourteen beautiful and meaningful stoles for Zion Lutheran Church in Kent, Washington. All are pictured in color and the motifs and borders are charted, as well as a section on Stole Construction. The motifs would also adapt nicely for altar cloths, banners, or baptismal, wedding or confirmation items. Christian symbols used include crosses, crowns, stars, INRI, chalices, ALLELUIA, flames, Menorah, grapes and vine, wheat, dove, REJOICE, HOLY, seal of Martin Luther, intertwined rings with cross (for marriage), and shell with water droplets (for baptism). The symbolism in each stole and the colors for the seasons of the church year are explained.
