Classic Thea Design, 6.27.2010

Longer than most of Thea's samplers (if you do the full version), this sampler also features some of her most beautiful white work. The "lace" bands are gorgeous. Her stitch diagrams are very well done. No problems understanding them. Surprisingly, I actually am close to running out the of the light green color (I got the red & green accessory pack.) I have always had plenty of extra thread with her accessory packs, so it may just be mine. If you do the long version, you will definitely need two spools of the creme Soie de Perlee. This design is more of a time commitment than most of Thea's other samplers and is best suited for someone who is comfortable with hardanger and cutwork - you cut a lot of threads in this design. If cutting into your fabric makes you nervous, then you should probably try another Thea. In the end, you can never go wrong with a Thea design. The Heirloom Christmas Sampler is a Thea Masterclass.
