This charming little pulled thread design is a reproduction of a 19th century doily in Ilse's collection. The design counts 114 threads x 114 threads so the finished size on 28 count linen (model color substitute is Cream Cashel linen 3281-222) will be 3.25" square. DMC perle (pearl) cotton was used in size 8 and 12 to match fabric color (DM008-0712 and DM012-0712 would be the recommended colors to match the fabric suggestion provided) Large charts and diagrams are provided to make stitching easier. This little design is perfect for a box top insert, a top for an elegant needlebook, a center design for a ring bearer's pillow or a small framed piece.
