Product Description
Hardanger is an age-old embroidery technique, which can now be used for embroidering cards with these handy stencils. Stick the mould on the front side of the paper (with non-permanent tape) and emboss the pattern openings. Then prick through (some of the) embroidery holes. Think out the pattern you wish to embroider in advance and only prick holes that are necessary. Instead of embossing, you can also use a pencil to mark the holes. After removing the pattern you can cut out the shape. All types of thread can be used for embroidery. Secure the start and end thread to the back with sticky tape. Decorate your embroidered card with 3D paper cuttings, strass stones and/or ribbon.
