This sewing box was inspired by the designs of William Morris (1834-1896). He was a poet, painter, and writer, but he is best known as a craftsman who was driven by a belief in the dignity and worth of handmade objects and he loved nature. Design requires a fat quarter of 32-count fabric of your color choice. The model was stitched on 32-count Herald from Picture This Plus. The design uses DMC or Anchor floss.
