Where have you been all my life?, 4.7.2012

I can't believe I went all these years without this marking thread, or wasn't bright enough t think of it myself! My stitching is so much more accurate and enjoyable with it, I wonder how I managed before1

For big projects, a must and a time-saver, 10.1.2011
By: Caroline Miller (Miami, FL)
This guideline thread is fantastic, and works just as it says it will. It provides flexible guidelines that make counting and accuracy manageable for a big project. The slick thread pulls out effortlessley when an area is done, no snagging. The up-front investment of time in gridding the fabric is well worth the time saved later, especially because it helps minimize annoying ripping-out of wrongly counted thread placement.

WOW!!!, 5.15.2011
By: Marcia Swarm (Franklin, PA)
My first time using this. It took me a while to mark my grids, but it is so much easier to keep track of where I am at with my project. Well, will have to see what happens when I finish my project and take it out.

Love it, but, 9.29.2010
By: Cynthia Zachow (Las Vegas, NV)
What I love most about this is also what I like least--it slides right out from under the stitches when I'm ready to remove it. However, I've had problems with it coming out at both ends towards the middle while I'm working, regardless of the fabric. Haven't found a good way to secure it.

Great Tool, 4.25.2010
By: Sally Foley (Oakdale, MN)
I bought this a year ago and had not opened the package since I didn't want to "waste" it. Another reviewer's tip about storing pre-cut threads in bags to be used again spurred me to break open my package for a complicated cross stitch project. This stuff is a dream! Well worth the time to mark the grid on your fabric. It saves way more time by not having to constantly recount and rip out mistakes. When the project is complete, it pulls out easily with one tug. Now that I've taken the plunge, I won't hesitate to use it again.
