100% silk. 50 meters per spool. Single ply highly twisted spun silk for embroidery, counted thread and canvaswork. Can be used as is on 30 to 40 count linen or on silk gauze. Because it is highly twisted you cannot accidentally pierce the thread. Glides through linen and perfect for weaving the bars in Hardanger. The sheen adds an extra luster to your work.
