Tomatoes (cross stitch) #4573B
- Intermediate Skill level
There is much lively discussion among gardeners as to whether tomato plants grown in the upside-down planters are easier to raise and produce more or larger tomatoes. This sampler pays tribute to a friend of the designer whose small porch garden sports a topsy-turvy planter. The sampler's tomato-studded alphabet reads backwards to echo the theme. No matter how you slice it, it comes up fresh. Stitch count is 123 x 159 with a design size of 8.25" x 10.5" on 30-count over two threads.
